This week in class, we discussed using a new program called ZBrush. This is a software that allows you to sculpt models! In this lesson, we went over the basics of the software of well as how to use certain tools - and then we also put them into practice by attempting to make a model of our own.

Lightbox
In ZBrush, there is a function called the Lightbox. Here, you can access all sorts of premade models and shapes. These can be things such as models of people, heads, animals, or even just shapes like spheres and cubes. These serve as a starting point for each model you create. You can also create your own brushes and models and save them here.
Left and Right Trays
On each side of the workspace, there are two trays (one on each side). These trays contain majority of the tools that are needed to created models. Here, you can find tools such as the Material Capture, which contains things like lighting information and access to all different brush types. On the opposite side is the save and file information tab, which allows you to configure and save models and brushes.
Navigation
To navigate around ZBrush, there area few basic controls. To rotate, press the right click on the mouse and drag. to Pan the camera, press Alt+Drag with the right click on the mouse. To Zoom in and out, Press Alt+Right click, then let go of right click and Drag.

Creating a Skull Model
For our homework, we were tasked with creating a human skull with the new tools and skills we had learnt.
