Group Presentation Formative
This blog includes:
- Group Presentation Showcase
This week, our group had to present our powerpoint showcase for our formative assessment. We each had an equal share of effort in our powerpoint and all added our own features and showcased our work. We were also filmed and given feedback by Sam at the end of our presentation.

We sectioned our presentation into 8 separate points, and we were each assigned sections to talk over and explain to the class about. We assigned ourselves sectioned depending on what each of our roles were and what we thought would work best. As I am the research lead, I was in charge of the research section of the powerpoint.
1. The Team - All of us
2. Game Overview - Lydia
3. Target Audience - Amare
4. Research - Me
5. Art Direction - Sam
6. Concept Art - Sam
7. Development Status - Lydia
These are the slides I worked on, which contain our groups research work so far. In our group, everyone has done different research tasks in order to spilt the work up evenly and also get a variety of different research and ideas from the entire group. On the powerpoint all our work was compiled and put into sections, such as our moodboards, benchmark games and style inspirations, our cave trip and images we took, and also additional research about things such as places in Nottingham, the caves themselves and other important topics we needed to research and understand before making our game.
Overall, I think our presentation went really well. I think our group is currently in a good position and we have lots of ideas and have planned out what our next steps for the project are. As well as this, we also received feedback from Sam which we will reflect upon and further develop to continue to improve our game and workflow.
