UI Inventory Final Design Work
Here are my final concept designs for the Inventory UI within our game. Last week, I created some concepts of different inventory UI's of our game to show as an example of what the content of our actual final game could look like. I gathered feedback from the other members of my group to see which styles they prefered and thought would work best based upon the style of our game, as created these finalised versions based upon their feedback of my original concepts. I wanted to create them in a style similar the the main in-game UIs I designed, so i used a similar style for the panels, text font and also colours too.
I also experimented with different colours for the background, as seen below. I tested with a darker background and lighter squares as well as a lighter background with darker squares for each of the different items. I personally think the first variant with the darker background and lighter squares works best, as i think the inventory slots stand out more in contrast to the background, but I still think that testing and experimenting with both is useful. I think i could also create a few more variants experimenting with different colour possibilities too if I have the chance.
The items used in the inventory slots are just placed for example to show what the inventory could look like, and were drawn by the other members of my group Sam and Lydia. I think everything works really well together and that we've done a good job making our style consistent throughout our work.

The design for the diver is based upon the character sheet drawn by Sam, i tried to replicate their design as accurately as possible and making it work upon my UI design. UI Research and Inspo
While i was coming up with concept ideas as finalising my design, I looked at a few other games and different designs to gather inspiration for what could look good for our game. Below, is a small collection of different games i gathered in a small moodboard to use for inspiration. All images where gathered from a selection of different games but all were found on pinterest.
