 Review with Mantic Games

On Thursday 13th March, we each had reviews with Mantic Games! These reviews were to showcase our designs and work so far, and get feedback from the team behind the company!

My PowerPoint Pitch

In my PowerPoint I covered my initial game idea and direction I wanted to go in, showcased my designing process for each character, including all my thumbnails and colour variants, and included a finalised design sheet for each character and some information about them.

Feedback I was Given

In the meeting, I went over my work so far and answered questions I was given by Mantic Games. At the end of everything, they gave me a selection of feedback for my designs, including things they liked and things I should change.

Mazon Labs Character:

- make gauntlets and bionic arm bigger to extenuate the silhouette and make it stand out

- make her bionic leg more prominent. (goodbye baggy pants!! i guess the bodysuit was the way to go all along..)

Space Bug Character:

- add some type of pattern on the area where the legs meet the torso, or add armour onto the sides of the legs to distinguish them

- potentially make the neck thicker or experiment with the neck proportions as the head looks too heavy for the thin neck ( that was the vibe i was going for! but ill defiently test with a ticker neck too)

I will incorporate their new feedback into my new finalised designs, Which I will document in my final design blog! Overall, I am happy with how my meeting went. it was really good to get feedback in person even though I was totally nervous for it.
