Drawing Characters in Perspective
This week, I wanted to practice drawing characters in different perspectives in some more complex and fun poses. Usually when I draw perspective or characters, they are two separate things. I usually focus on perspective for background and tent to draw characters mostly in a pretty simple front or 3/4 perspective. Because of this, I wanted to practice a bit more and try experimenting.
I found some references on Pinterest, and tried to reference the poses to the best of my abilities. I wanted to try some more dramatic poses, where field of depth come into play making certain body parts that are closer and further from the camera appear large and smaller respectively. This is something i find really hard sometimes when drawing poses, for example a pose of someone reaching towards a camera. I really enjoyed practicing these techniques and I think I will continue to practice things like this in order to improve and get a better understanding on perspective.
Practice with a perspective grid and how the body would sit in this type of angle.
